History

Praying mantise-like creatures mutated by a radioactive storm from a United Nations weather control experiment on Sollgel. Attempting to devour Godzilla’s son Minilla, the three gigantic insects were quickly routed by Godzilla himself. One of them was later defeated in battle by the giant spider, Kumonga, but at least one was seen among the other monsters imprisoned on Monster Island.

In Godzilla: Final Wars, Kamacuras made an appearance as one of the many controlled monsters of a race of superior extraterrestrial beings known as the Xiliens. It attacks Paris, France and is teleported away by an enormous UFO to make it seem as if the Xiliens eliminated every kaiju. Eventually, it is discovered that the Xiliens were controlling the monsters, who are returned to finish their rampages. Kamacuras is defeated when Godzilla impales him on an electrical tower. The novelisation shows Godzilla crushing his head with his tail.
